About the Rhodes Paintball Society:

Rhodes University Paintball Society was set-up in 2007. We are a group of like-minded people who enjoy the sport and want to get more people involved.

The society aims to bring paintball to the masses, to get the sport recognized as a sport and get people involved.

What are the Society's Social Events:

The society meets at the Gung-ho Paintball Range at Albany Rugby Club, Florence Street, Grahamstown, 3 times a term from 2pm-5pm. It is great fun, and we always end up going out afterwards!! So whether its in the pub, or on the field, come along and meet us, you'll be surprised at how open and un-scary we are!!!!

Interested in Joining the Society:

Society membership costs just R250 annually. Joining the society will provide benefits such as discounted paintball gear, bring a friend free days, free gas, big games, the chance to win R3000 worth of paintball equipment, and an invite to the famous M.A.D. Member's Appreciation Day, plus the opportunity to vote (and be elected) at our annual AGM. If you wish to join the speedball team we host as part of the Society, or have your own private booking then other fees will occur (see respective pages), but to get the Society benefits, all you need to pay is R250.

Are there any hidden Costs?

Only one cost - that of the paint. We can't give you free paintballs as a society benefit. But we have organised Society members discounted rates

Game Formats:

We play almost all the different paintball formats available out there, at least once in the year. But, if you have any exciting, new, interesting, VIABLE ideas for a new kind of paintball. Let us know. We LOVE trying out something new.

Rankings:

As a way to keep track of the entries every Society member earns towards the R3000 paintball equipment draw, we have introduced rankings. All it is, is a tally of those points.

What Services Does The Society Provide?

The Society offers the opportunity to both members and non-members to organise once off paintball big events through Gung-ho Paintball. If you are interested, give Kent a call on 083 956 5973.
